December blog is our Christmas bookkeeping tips and one of these is about the Xero add-on Hubdoc from Claire and Hayley at Your Support Team
Hubdoc is a data capture tool which extracts key data from documents, then creates transactions in Xero. You can email bills and receipts straight into it and use a mobile app to upload a photo in seconds.
You can set up automated connections so it remembers details such as the contact, date and amount from previous entries saving you time on future entries which is particularly useful for regular bills from the same supplier.
Once published Xero creates the invoice, bill, credit note, or spend money transaction with a copy of the document attached.
