Fighting to raise funds for The Visyon Community Café Mural

Visyon is a local mental health charity that supports children and young people aged 4-25 years old across Cheshire East. Visyon provides a range of services including 1-2-1 therapy, mentoring, therapeutic and creative groups, family support sessions and support and training for schools.

Ben and Jenna want to shine a light on the amazing work that Visyon do for so many young people and their families in Cheshire East. They want to give back to the staff, young people, families, and wider community who have been touched by this incredible charity every day. They want to create something which celebrates community and gives hope.
Celebrating Community & Hope: The Visyon Cafe Mural Project, 2022!

For the last 2 years, the Visyon Centre in Congleton has been all but closed to members of the public. We are delighted to learn that it is slowly, but surely, opening its doors again to young people, their families, and the wider community. Visyon is soon to be back, offering mental health support, which is needed now, more than ever.
As the doors re-open, and the light filters back in, we have an amazing opportunity to welcome visitors back with a smile. Jenna is working collaboratively with many of the inspirational young people who have benefitted from Visyon’s services to create an interactive wall mural in the community cafe.

This mural promises to be filled with messages of hope, support and love and act as a central focus for the newly reopened Visyon centre.
To create our beautiful mural, we need to raise funds for supplies. Whilst we’ve got our brushes out, our ambition is to raise enough money to give the whole centre a refresh.

On March 18th, 2022, Ben Mulroney will, for his sixth and final time, be strapping on his boxing gloves for the fight of his White Collar Career. Vying to keep his Central Area Cruiser Weight belt, Ben will be taking part in a gruelling 6 week boot camp before getting in the ring to fight his toughest opponent to date.
So, please donate to show your support as Ben puts himself through the physical and mental challenge of another white-collar boxing match.

Throughout this fundraising, boxing and painting mission, our main objective is simple. We want to use our profile as a small business to raise awareness of the incredible work that Visyon do for young people and their families in Cheshire East. We want to celebrate Visyon, and invite our clients, business connections, friends and family to do the same. Supporting young people’s mental health is a deeply personal issue for us and our family. Over the last 2 years, we have become acutely aware of how important it is to normalise conversations around mental health; to support young people and their families, and to be able to access free of charge life-changing support before a child is in crisis.
