South Manchester Business Network has taken on a really distinctive character since I attended the launch exactly two years ago. In my 13 years as a Business Network member – and having visited a dozen others around the country – I can honestly say there is a real maturity about the networking at South Manchester. There is also a very friendly and supportive atmosphere which is unusual in a relatively young group. I would particularly single out Kate Fox of Fox Graphics. I worked with her on one job last Christmas and she gave me an excellent referral for some training which I delivered yesterday. A terrific network with some serious networkers. I am a founding member of the South Manchester Business Network and have just renewed for the 3rd time. I have done that because I like the format of the meetings, designed to connect you with people you can do business with. I have also found the quality of other network members to be superb and use the services of several members to support my own business as well as having attracted a few clients of my own from the network. The educational seminars are free to members and provide a great learning opportunity as well as giving you the chance to share your expertise for the benefit of colleagues, should you have the nerve! Overall, I continue to thoroughly enjoy these monthly network events which enable me to connect with like-minded individuals and further hone Robertson Fox’s products and services as I listen to what I have to say about my business at monthly table presentations! My first impression when attending my initial meeting was to think how upbeat, switched on and welcoming were the business leaders at the South Manchester Business Network.
